Stabbing In Mampang, South Jakarta, 1 Person Died

JAKARTA - A young man named Syahwal Aldiansyah (20) was found dead after being hacked by an unknown group of people on Jalan Bangka, Mampang Prapatan, South Jakarta, Sunday, March 3.

Meanwhile, the victim's friend, Muhamad Sultan Raditya (15) was injured and critically after being stabbed with a sharp weapon.

Mampang Police Chief, Commissioner David Kanito said the two victims were registered as residents of Pasar Minggu, South Jakarta.

"After checking the crime scene, there was a beating that resulted in a death toll. Two victims were injured and died," said Commissioner David, Sunday, March 3.

According to the testimony of four eyewitnesses, the victim began to pass at the scene of the incident riding a motorbike with his friend. Suddenly the victim was chased by a group of unknown people using a motorcycle.

"The victim's motorbike is no longer there and the victim has been injured. The victim was taken to Fatmawati Hospital," he said.

Currently, the perpetrators are still being chased by the police. The perpetrator injured the victim using a sharp weapon.

"The perpetrator is under investigation," he said.
