Protect Livestock From Tiger Attacks, BKSDA Builds Communal Cages In Binjai, West Sumatra

The West Sumatra Natural Resources Conservation Agency (BKSDA) has built a communal cage for wildlife conflicts in the villages of Jambak, Nagari or Binjai Village, Tigo Nagari District, Pasaman Regency.

Head of the Conservation Resort Region I of the West Sumatra BKSDA Panti, Ade Putra, said that the communal cage has a length of 35 meters and a width of 30 meters to protect the residents' livestock from the Sumatran Tiger attack (Panthera tigris sumatrae). "The construction of this communal cage involves local residents in the location of the farmer's land," he said in Lubuk Basung, West Sumatra, Thursday, February 29, was confiscated by Antara.
