BMKG Issues Early Warning Of Rain-Lightning In Kepulauan Seribu

JAKARTA - The Indonesian Agency for Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics (BMKG) issued an early warning of potential rain accompanied by lightning and strong winds in the Kepulauan Seribu, DKI Jakarta, Monday, March 1.

As quoted by Antara, from the information reported through BMKG's official website, Monday early morning, it is stated the potential of bad weather will occur on Monday night until Tuesday early morning.

In its report, BMKG also attached a weather forecast in the DKI Jakarta area for the same day. Cloudy sunny and cloudy weather will occur in four regions, namely the Administrative City of North Jakarta, Central Jakarta, West Jakarta, and East Jakarta.

Whereas, the temperature in DKI Jakarta ranges from 24 to 32 degrees Celsius, with the lowest humidity level at 75 percent and the highest reaching 95 percent.

The BMKG reported that such weather conditions will expand on Tuesday covering North Jakarta, West Jakarta, and Central Jakarta.

Apart from DKI Jakarta, surrounding areas such as Bogor, Bekasi, Depok also have the potential for moderate to heavy rain accompanied by lightning from noon until Towards evening, similar weather conditions are also forecasted in Tangerang City and South Tangerang, Banten, the BMKG reported.
