KLH Will Detain Owners Of Waste Factory Oli Pasar Kemis Tangerang Which Is Environmentally Polluted

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Environment (KLH) will soon detain the owner of PT Noor Annisa Kemikal who is located in Pasar Kemis, Tangerang Regency, Banten.

The detention effort was carried out to follow up on violations of the law regarding environmental pollution resulting from the business activities.

"Yes, we will immediately make arrests, because we already know the results of the lab (environmental pollution). And that activity is not allowed," said Environment Minister Hanif Faisol Nurofiq as quoted by ANTARA, Friday, May 23.

The Ministry of Environment and Forestry has carried out an investigation and research into the findings of violations of environmental pollution committed by a company called Noor Annisa Kemikal.

"We have called, and indeed the person concerned has been investigated and now we are pursuing Pemalang," he said.

Hanif explained, as a form of the government's commitment to enforcing the law, his party has also sealed it until the closure of activities for companies that are indicated to have violated the law by not having an official permit.

"Indeed, this company used to have a permit in 2014, and indeed there is a series of people concerned to Pemalang. So now we are pursuing several sources," he said.

Until now, his party has examined several witnesses to complete the evidence for handling the case.

"For the number of witnesses, I certainly don't know. That's why the Gakkum section handles it, so I haven't monitored it again," he said.

Previously, on Friday (16/5) the Ministry of Environment sealed all operations of PT Noor Annisa Kemikal's oil and plastic waste business in Pagedangan Village, Pasar Kemis District, Tangerang Regency, Banten.

Based on the results of checking and checking a number of management standards, there are serious violations, namely environmental pollution.

Based on the findings, the Ministry of Environment has sealed and closed it because there are civil or criminal violations in it.

"As with the alleged violation of environmental damage, the wastewater treatment is very messy. In fact, not only oil deposits flow, red water is flooded in the warehouse area," he explained.
