Jokowi Kunker To East Kalimantan, Inaugurate The Seberang Samarinda Terminal

JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo arrived in East Kalimantan, Rau, to make a working visit to inaugurate a number of infrastructures.

Based on information from the President and a limited entourage arrived at Aji Pangeran Tumenggung Pranoto International Airport, Samarinda City, at around 16.00 WITA reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, February 28.

It appears that President Jokowi welcomes the airport, namely Acting Governor of East Kalimantan Akmal Malik, Pangkogabwilhan II Marsdya TNI M. Tonny Harjono, Pangdam VI/Mulawarman Major General TNI Tri Budi Utomo, and East Kalimantan Police Chief Inspector General Nanang Avianto.

After arriving in the province, the President immediately inaugurated the Samarinda Seberang Terminal in East Kalimantan.

In his remarks at the inauguration ceremony, President Widodo encouraged the use of mass transportation in the country, to overcome congestion that occurred in a number of areas.

"We must encourage mass transportation, public transportation, so that the use of private vehicles is reduced," said the President in Samarinda, Wednesday.
