JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo went to Yogyakarta for a work visit with a number of agendas including reviewing mass vaccinations and inaugurating the Yogyakarta-Solo KRL (Electric Railroad).

President Joko Widodo from the Antara report, departed on Sunday, February 28, 2021, leaving for the Special Region of Yogyakarta for a working visit.

The President departed from Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force base, Jakarta, at around 16.00 Western Indonesia Time and took off for the Adisutjipto Air Force Base, Sleman Regency.

Upon arrival in Sleman, the President will go directly to Gedung Agung, Yogyakarta Presidential Palace, to spend the night and continue the activities tomorrow.

On Monday, March 1, 2021 tomorrow, the Head of State is scheduled to review mass vaccinations for public workers in a number of places in the city of Yogyakarta.

In addition, the President also plans to inaugurate the operation of the Yogyakarta-Solo electric railroad.

The existence of this mode of transportation will increase accessibility and ease of transportation as well as provide added economic value for local residents, especially those in Yogyakarta, Klaten, and Solo.

Participating with the President in his departure for Yogyakarta included Minister of State Secretary, Pratikno; Head of Presidential Secretariat, Heru Budi Hartono; Presidential Military Secretary, Air-Vice Marshal of National Army M. Tonny Harjono; Commander of Presidential Security Force, Major General of National Army Agus Subiyanto; and Deputy for Protocol, Press, and Media of Presidential Secretariat Bey Machmudin.
