TANGERANG - The Indonesian Child Protection Commission (KPAI) considers that SMA Binus Serpong, South Tangerang (Tangsel) is not cooperative in cases of alleged bullying in its environment.

KPAI commissioner, Diyah Puspitarini, said that when her party visited Binus Serpong High School, she had never been met by her principal. Instead, only legal parties from the international school.

"So far, we have only been met by legal, I think it is important, as a form of seriousness, it must be the principal," said Diyah when confirmed, Wednesday, February 27.

Diyah admitted that during his last meeting with SMA Binus Serpong on Friday (23/2), he had never met the principal until the foundation.

However, on Monday (26/2) his party was finally met, but not an invitation from the school, but from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (Kemendikbudristek).

"I was called directly by Mrs. Inspector General (Kemendikbudristek) to attend and then I was present and explained everything that KPAI complained about because I told the Inspector General that I had to meet with the principal and had to meet with the foundation," he said.

According to him, meeting with the school is important in handling cases of bullying in these international schools.

The goal is that the school will open up information that actually accepts input and the most important thing is to know the right to education for children involved.

"In my opinion, it's important as a form of seriousness," he concluded
