Tomorrow KPU Holds Plenary Open Results Of Overseas Voice Counting

The KPU is scheduled to hold an open plenary meeting to recapitulate the results of the 2024 general election vote count abroad on Wednesday (28/2).

KPU chairman Hasyim Asy'ari said the meeting would start at 09.00 WIB.

The recapitulation process starts from the vote count results that have been completed by the Overseas Election Committee (PPLN).

"We will start on Wednesday, February 28, 2024, at 9 am," said Hasyim as quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, February 27.

He explained that from 128 PPLNs around the world, to this day 36 PPLNs are ready to attend the KPU offices.

"And they are ready to attend the open plenary meeting of the recapitulation of vote count results," he said.

Hasyim explained that the recapitulation of the vote count was a plenary and open meeting attended by each witness participating in the election, both witnesses from presidential and vice presidential candidates and political parties.

In addition, the General Election Supervisory Body (Bawaslu), the Honorary Council of Election Organizers (DKPP), and other stakeholders will be witnessed.

"The plenary meeting is open so anyone can access it," added Hasyim.

The open plenary meeting of the vote count results for the 2024 General Election by PPLN has been held until 22 February. Meanwhile, the plenary meeting at the sub-district level will last until March 2.

Then the district/city level plenary meeting will last until March 5, 2024. Finally, the open plenary meeting as a result of the national election vote calculation will last until March 20.
