Elite Gerindra Explains Prabowo-Gibran Discusses Free Lunch Program When Meeting In Kertanegara

JAKARTA - The chairman of the DKI Jakarta Gerindra Party DPD, Ahmad Riza Patria, revealed the topic of discussion at the meeting of Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming Raka in Kertanegara, last weekend.

According to him, the presidential and vice presidential candidate pair number 2 discussed the free lunch and milk program that will be realized when it is officially announced as the winner of the 2024 presidential election by the KPU.

"Some of my friends may still question this program. Once again, we can assure you that this program is not just being launched or proposed, but they have really thought about it," said Riza in South Jakarta, Monday, February 26.

Riza emphasized that Prabowo had initiated the recommendation for a free lunch program in advance. In fact, he said, the idea related to this program had been thought out before the general chairman founded the Gerindra Party.

"Pak Prabowo has a thought that if the nation wants to progress, it must have superior resources. Superior resources must have healthy human beings. Yes, one of them must get adequate nutrition," said Riza.

"So, one of the programs is free lunch, and free milk for children, for students, pregnant women, for people in need," he continued.

In addition to discussing the free lunch and milk program, the former deputy governor of DKI Jakarta assessed that it is possible that the two of them will also discuss other programs for his government in the future. Even so, Riza emphasized that Paslon 02 will still focus on overseeing the results of the ongoing 2024 election vote calculations.

"Various meetings will certainly continue to be held between Pak Prabowo and Mas Gibran and others. There are so many things being discussed. But once again we are still focused, yes, we want to complete the recapitulation of vote count results," said Riza Patria.
