AHY Gathers To Vice President Ma'ruf Amin's Residence

JAKARTA - Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) visited the residence of Vice President Ma'ruf Amin.

"Yes, it's a gathering," said Democratic Party spokesman Coordinator Herzaky Mahendra Putra as quoted by ANTARA, Saturday, February 24.

According to information received from the Vice President's Palace, the meeting took place at around 15.30 WIB.

AHY's visit to the Vice President's residence was the first time since the General Chairperson of the Democrats was appointed as Minister of ATR/Head of the National Land Agency by President Joko Widodo, Wednesday (21/2).

AHY's visit was suspected to be purely to stay in touch with the Vice President to exchange ideas on the duties in the government that the President gave him.

Previously, the President appointed Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono as Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/Head of the National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) at the State Palace, Jakarta, Wednesday.

AHY's inauguration coincided with the inauguration of the Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs Hadi Tjahjanto, in accordance with Presidential Decree Number 34 P of 2024 concerning the Dismissal and Appointment of the Minister of State of the Advanced Indonesian Cabinet for the 2019 '2024 Period, which was determined by President Joko Widodo in Jakarta on February 20, 2024.
