"However, after we checked the PT MAB office located around Senayan, information was obtained that the guarantor's office had a 'virtual office' status and had not been operating since 2021 because it had not extended the lease period," he said.
He said, after the irregularities were found, the officers immediately went to MAAB's residence and two people were found there as well as several evidences in the form of cell phones, videos of human smuggling, and others.
"For their actions, the three of them are threatened with violating Article 120 paragraph (1) of Law Number 6 of 2011 concerning Immigration with the threat of 15 years imprisonment," he said.
