The North Sumatra Police arrested two suspected couriers of 3.8 kilograms (kg) of methamphetamine-type narcotics at Kualanamu International Airport, Deli Serdang Regency to be taken to Sulawesi.
"The perpetrators who were arrested had the initials AK (24) and MH (29) Acehnese with evidence confiscated 16 plastic packages containing methamphetamine weighing 3.8 kg," said Head of Public Relations of the North Sumatra Police Kombes Hadi Wahyudi in Medan as reported by ANTARA, Friday, February 23.
The arrests were made when personnel received information about the distribution of drugs from the Aceh network to Central Sulawesi via International Kualanamu Airport with the first departure to Palu.
"From this information, on Thursday in coordination with the Kualanamu Airport protocol officer, the police arrested the two perpetrators who obtained evidence of six packs of crystal methamphetamine," said Hadi.
The two perpetrators during an examination of the perpetrator who claimed to have been ordered by H are still under investigation by the police.
