10 Members Of The Tanah Abang Police Will Undergo A Disciplinary Session Regarding The Escape Of Dozens Of Prisoners

Ten members of the Tanah Abang Metro Police picket are still undergoing examination at the Bidpropam Polda Metro Jaya and Central Jakarta Metro Police on Friday, February 23.

The examination of the guard officers was carried out in relation to the audit of the escape of the Tanah Abang Polsektro detainee.

"Until now, 10 personnel including the police chief have been examined to investigate the elements of the officer's error and negligence. Further disciplinary action will be taken," said Central Jakarta Metro Police Chief, Kombes Susatyo Purnomo Condro when confirmed by VOI, Friday, February 23.

As many as 10 members of the Tanah Abang Metro Police are said to be subject to disciplinary sanctions related to the incident. And until now the examination of members is still ongoing.

"Currently the investigation is still ongoing, still reviewing various elements of error or negligence," he said.

In the near future, continued Kombes Susatyo, there will be a disciplinary hearing related to the Tanah Abang Metro Police officers or personnel who are suspected of being negligent.

After the disbursement of 16 detainees from the Tanah Abang Metro Police, the Central Jakarta Metro Police conducted an examination of a number of members on duty at night.

Central Jakarta Metro Police Chief, Kombes Susatyo Purnomo Condro said his party conducted an examination of members who were on picket on the day of the incident.

"10 members of the picket were examined. They are members of the picket," said Kombes Susatyo to VOI, Tuesday, February 20.

The escape of the dozens of detainees was assisted by RA, Syarifudin's wife, aka Komeng. Komeng is one of 16 prisoners who escaped. Komeng asked his wife, RA, to smuggle a saw into detention. The smuggling was allegedly carried out when RA visited Komeng in the cell.
