Sahroni's Joke Sees Ridwan Kamil Installing "OTW Jakarta" Billboards: The Opponents Are Too Easy

The General Treasurer of the NasDem Party, Ahmad Sahroni, responded to the appearance of a billboard depicting the former Governor of West Java Ridwan Kamil with the statement "OTW Jakarta hh".

Many assume that the billboard is a signal that Ridwan Kamil is interested in running as a candidate for Governor of DKI Jakarta in the 2024 Pilkada.

Meanwhile, Sahroni is also rumored to be interested in contesting the DKI Jakarta gubernatorial election. Responding to the billboard "OTW Jakarta", he joked that Ridwan Kamil (RK) was an opponent who was easy to beat.

"It's just easy for RK. The opponent is too easy. Hehehe," said Sahroni when met at NasDem Tower, Cikini, Central Jakarta, Thursday, February 22.

Sahroni, who is also the Deputy Chairman of Commission III of the DPR RI, has also installed a billboard that reads "from Tanjung Priok to Jakarta". The billboard installation was also uploaded to his Instagram account, @ahmadsahroni88.

The assumption that Sahroni is increasingly determined to run as a candidate for Governor of DKI continues to strengthen. In fact, Sahroni also feels that participating in the DKI Pilkada will be easier than his competitors, including Ridwan Kamil.

"Ridwan Kamil wants to say he wants to OTW Jakarta. Well, I'm already in Jakarta. Right, if RK wants to run for the Governor of DKI Jakarta, he's an OTW from Bandung to Jakarta. If I'm already in Jakarta," he added.

However, the man nicknamed Crazy Rich Priok did not want to confirm that he would participate in this year's DKI Pilkada contestation.

"Between going forward and not. It's the same as RK. If RK is just about to run for Jakarta, if I'm already in Jakarta. So, I'll be easy anytime, that's it," explained Sahroni.

For information, Ridwan Kamil's billboards that read "OTW Jakarta" are widely discussed on social media. One of them is through the upload of the X @txtdaribandung account.

The former mayor of Bandung is also one of the figures who has high electability on the DKI Jakarta gubernatorial candidate exchange recently.
