"Currently, the AGO is still in the process of investigating files," said Whisnu. In this case, Panji Gumilang is said to have used the mode of borrowing money from Bank J-trust on behalf of the Indonesian Islamic Boarding School Foundation (YPI). Then, the money was actually used for personal gain worth IDR 73 billion. The loan funds by Panji Gumilang were transferred from the foundation's account to a personal account. Panji Gumilang is suspected of violating Article 372 of the Criminal Code regarding embezzlement. Finally, Panji Gumilang is also suspected of violating Article 3 Article 4 Article 5 in conjunction with Article 10 of Law Number 8 of 2010 concerning Money Laundering.
