State Losses In KUR Corruption PT BRI Gerung Mataram NTB Reaches IDR 290 Million

NTB - State losses in the alleged corruption case in the distribution of people's business credit funds (KUR) PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI) Gerung Unit, Mataram City, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) reached more than IDR 290 million.

Head of the Mataram Kejari Intelligence Section Harun Al Rasyid explained that the loss figure emerged from the results of an internal banking audit, namely the BRI Internal Supervisory Unit (SPI).

"So, here (the state loss audit) we do not use BPKP," he said in Mataram, NTB, Thursday, February 22, which was confiscated by Antara.

Previously, SPI found that there were arrears in payment of KUR funds worth Rp. 6 billion from 2021 to 2022. The findings were in two work units in the Kebon Roek and Gerung areas.

"The findings of the SPI in Gerung were Rp. 2 billion, but after we followed up, the remaining arrears were Rp. 290 million and that is now the loss rate," said Harun.

Furthermore, for the findings of the banking SPI in the Gerung regional work unit, Harun said that the investigation was still ongoing. There is no strong evidence that could be the basis for determining the suspect.

Dalam perkembangan penyidikan, pihaknya kini menggendakan pemeriksaan ahli pidana untuk memperkuat alat bukti.

"If there are no obstacles, next week will be expert examinations," he said.
