Jokowi Messages To Hadi Tjahjanto About Security To Investment Support

JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo advised Hadi Tjahjanto as Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs who had just been inaugurated regarding security and investment support.

"I have ordered several things related to security and order, and related to support for investment that will enter Indonesia," said President Jokowi after the inauguration of state officials at the State Palace, Jakarta, as reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, February 21.

President Jokowi assessed that Hadi Tjahjanto was very ready to overcome matters related to politics, law and security.

According to the President, Hari is ready with the position he has just held because he was previously the TNI Commander for the 2017-2021 period.

"I think the Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs knows that he used to be the Commander. I think to overcome matters related to politics, law and security, he is very ready," said the President.

President Joko Widodo appointed Hadi Tjahjanto as coordinating minister for politics, law and security, and Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono as minister of agrarian and spatial planning/head of the National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) at the State Palace, Jakarta, Wednesday.

The inauguration of Hadi and AHY was carried out simultaneously in accordance with Presidential Decree Number 34 P of 2024 concerning the Dismissal and Appointment of State Ministers of the Advanced Indonesia Cabinet for the 2019-2024 Period, which was set by President Joko Widodo in Jakarta, February 20, 2024.

Hadi and AHY underwent the process of taking the oath of office under Jokowi's guidance.

Previously, Hadi Tjahjanto was the minister of ATR/head of BPN; while the Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs was held by the Minister of Home Affairs Tito Karnavian as the executor of the task.

Hadi Tjahjanto is the TNI Commander for the 2017-2021 period who was then assigned by President Jokowi to become the Minister of ATR/Head of BPN since June 2022.
