PAPUA - The Cartenz Peace Operations Task Force arrested a member of the Papuan Armed Criminal Group (KKB) named Alenus Tabuni alias Kobuter. Based on the results of the examination, Kobuter was involved in dozens of acts of terror in Puncak Regency, Papua.

"Alenus Tabuni alias Kobuter has a number of criminal records from the actions that occurred in Puncak Regency," said Head of Damai Cartenz Ops, Kombes Faizal Ramadhani in his statement, Tuesday, February 20.

In addition, Alenus Tabuni alias Kobuter is known to be a member of the KKB led bytenuh Tabuni. However, when he was arrested the suspect was with other groups.

"Alenus Tabuni alias Kobuter is a group of the KKB led bytenuh Tabuni. However, he is currently joining the KKB led by Numbuk Telenggen in the top area," he said.

2. On April 14, 2021, he was involved in the shooting of a motorcycle taxi driver on behalf of Udin near the Eromaga village hall which resulted in the victim's death.

4. On May 3, 2021, they were involved in the shooting incident of TNI members in Undome Village, Gome District, Puncak Regency, from the incident the survivors.

5. On May 9, 2021, they were involved in the burning of a tourism building around Aminggaru airport, Ilaga District, Puncak Regency.
