British Ambassador to Indonesia Dominic Jermey met with presidential candidate number 2 Prabowo Subianto to congratulate the British Prime Minister (PM) Rishi Sunak for his success in the 2024 election.

Through photos uploaded by Dominic Jermey on the X account @DomJermey, Saturday, it is known that the meeting took place on Friday (16/2) at Prabowo's official residence in the Widya Chandra area, South Jakarta.

Ambassador Dominic was seen giving a letter located in a white envelope to Prabowo which was immediately read by the presidential candidate.

"I am honored to be able to convey a letter of congratulations from Rishi Sunak for your success in the 2024 election," said Dominic. reported by ANTARA, Saturday, February 17.

In another photo, Prabowo, who was sitting at his desk, was seen showing Dominic a book standing on the side of his desk. It is known that the book is a book containing Prabowo's strategic ideas with the title "National Transformation Strategy Towards a Golden Indonesia 20245".

Apart from congratulating the Indonesian Minister of Defense, Dominic said that the two of them also discussed a number of big things achieved by the two countries.

"Thank you Mr. Prabowo for the hospitality yesterday. It's nice to discuss everything that is in front and big things that can be achieved together by our country," he said.

Dominic previously showed interest in the Indonesian democratic party by directly inspecting the polling stations (TPS) in Suropati Park, Menteng, Central Jakarta.
