JAKARTA - The Central Sulawesi Police's Brata Tinombala Operations Task Force picked up logistics for the 2024 General Election by helicopter after the follow-up polling at the polling station located in Watu Bamba Hamlet, Taronggo Village, North Bungku District, North Morowali Regency. The logistics are in the form of ballot boxes and other equipment used during the follow-up polling at remote polling stations (TPS). "The Central Sulawesi Police provided assistance for a Bell 429/P-302 helicopter to pick up logistics for the 2024 General Election at remote polling stations," said Head of Public Relations of the Central Sulawesi Police, Kombes Pol. Djoko Wienartono in Palu City, Central Sulawesi, Saturday, February 17, quoted from ANTARA. Djoko explained that the logistics pick-up using the helicopter was to speed up the delivery of ballot boxes from the Voting Committee (PPS) to the North Bungku District Election Committee (PPK). TPS in Watu Bamba Hamlet is one of those who carry out further voting because they are late in receiving logistics for the 2024 General Election due to the difficulty of the terrain. The trip to the TPS can only be done on foot with a distance of about 70 kilometers. While on the way to send logistics, two officers were injured so they were unable to continue their journey. "The delay in logistics distribution is due to a fairly heavy terrain. A distance of 70 kilometers can only be done on foot and two officers are injured while traveling," said Djoko.

However, he said, the implementation of voting and vote calculations at the very vulnerable category TPS took place safely and smoothly on Friday, February 16. "So, for the speed of delivery to the PPK, the Central Sulawesi Police help with the Police helicopter," said Djoko.
