Manado KPU Prepares Compensation For Families Of KPPS Members Died Post-Emilu

MANADO-KPU City of Manado, North Sulawesi, has prepared compensation for members of the Voting Organizing Group (KPPS) Micky Sepang, who died after serving in the February 14, 2024 elections, especially at the West Malalayang TPS. "We have prepared compensation in accordance with KPU decision number 059 of 2023, regarding the provision of death compensation and work accidents to the adhoc body of election organizers and regional head elections," said Head of the Manado KPU HR Division, Ramly Pateda, when traveling at the funeral home, Saturday, February 17 in Manado. Pateda said, in accordance with the KPU's decision, compensation would be received by the heirs of the late Micky Sepang. Regarding the handover of funeral assistance, Pateda said, it would be carried out at the time of the funeral ceremony of the deceased, in accordance with the nominal stated in the KPU decision number 059, which amounted to Rp36 million. "In addition to funeral compensation, the deceased adhoc body also received funeral money assistance of Rp. 10 million, which we will hand over at the funeral ceremony," he said again.

Mengenai santunan duka, sedang diproses oleh KPU, sambil menunggu keluarga mendiang Micky Sepang menyiapkan semua administrasi yang diperlukan seperti fotocopy KK, e-KTP, fotocopy SK pengangkatan badan adhoc, dan sejumlah kelengkapan lainnya.Micky Sepang, adalah anggota KPPS Malalayang Satu Barat, yang bertugas di TPS 4 kelurahan tersebut. Micky ditemukan sudah meninggal dunia pada Jumat pagi, usai melaksanakan tugas sebagai anggota KPPS.Komisioner KPU, Ramly Pateda didampingi Kasub Hukum dan SDM, Nofly, memimpin jajaran penyelenggara pemilu mulai dari PPK Malalayang, hingga PPS dan para anggota KPPS lainnya melayat di rumah duka.
