JAKARTA - KPU chairman Hasyim Asy'ari admitted that the voting data at 2,325 polling stations had an error in converting to the Recapitulation Information System (Sirekap). As a tool, Sirekap serves to scan various vote count results contained in the C Results form. The inaccurate data, said Hasyim, has been identified by the system so that corrections can be made between the Pilkada Recapitulation Information System (Sirekap) and form C1. "It has been identified by the system and has been asked to correct the wrong conversion, so that the scan is clear and read as written in the form," explained Hasyim. KPU member Betty Epsilon Idroos added, sirekap is equipped with optical sign recognition technology (optical mark recognition, OMR) and optical character recognition (optical character character character). Previously, it went viral on social media, there were differences in numbers between the sirekap and the C1 form at TPS 33 Depok which benefited the Prabowo-Gibran candidate pair. Where in the video, Prabowo-Gibran has a difference in numbers of up to 800 more votes, while the candidate pairs Anies-Muhaimin and Ganjar-Mahfud are in accordance with the C1 form resulting from the vote.
