PSI Does Not Criticize Semarang Floods, Faldo Maldini: Ganjar Has Confessed To Be Wrong

JAKARTA - During the rainy season like now, the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI) often criticizes the performance of DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan because the capital city is flooded.

One of the criticisms against Anies came from the Chairman of PSI Giring Ganesha. At the same time, the city of Semarang, Central Java was also flooded. However, there was no criticism from PSI.

DPP PSI spokesman, Faldo Maldini, explained the reason his party did not criticize Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo. Faldo said Ganjar's response was different from Anies's. Ganjar pleaded guilty to the floods that occurred.

"The governor of Central Java has admitted to being wrong. Well, it's also corrected. If we want to be true, we think we have to confess first. It's good that it doesn't blame people", Faldo told reporters, Thursday, February 25.

Meanwhile, said Faldo, Anies was not serious about dealing with the impact of the Jakarta floods. In fact, PSI considers Anies deliberately hampering the work of his subordinates in the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government to prevent flooding.

Faldo also considers that Anies does not have a clear master plan for flood management, the lack of seriousness in land acquisition for normalization, and stagnation of river normalization and naturalization.

"In our opinion, there are indeed a lot of people who are not open to what Pak Anies said", said Faldo.

This was caught by Faldo when Anies said that the floods in several DKI areas were water sent from heavy rains in the upstream area.

"So, what has been done, is a flood of deliveries or whatever it is called, it turns out that the floodgates are normal. It is said that from the floods sent by Depok and Bogor when we checked it turned out that the floodgates there were normal", he explained.
