JAKARTA - Member of the Election Supervisory Body (Bawaslu) Lolly Suhenty advised the public to immediately watch the documentary "Dirty Vote".
"We even, like earlier, for example, have there been those who haven't watched it yet? We suggest to watch it immediately because this has become an autocritical of the process of holding elections in us (Indonesia)," said Lolly as quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, February 13.
According to Lolly, his party made criticism of the documentary as part of reflection and evaluation.
"But in the context of Bawaslu's performance, of course, we are ready to account for all performances that have been carried out in the context of handling violations which are then targeted in the film," he said.
Bawaslu is still reviewing the existence of a black campaign or "black campaign" in the documentary.
"Because the film has just been released. So it's still under our study. We'll see because there have also been comments or protests submitted," he said.
He has not received any information regarding reports of alleged black campaigns in the documentary "Dirty Vote".
The documentary film "Dirty Vote" was directed by Dandhy Dwi Laksono. In his written broadcast, Dandhy conveyed that the film was a form of education for the people who on February 14, 2024 would exercise their voting rights in the 2024 General Election.
