"The IKM of the Ministry of PU in the last five years has shown positive results and this needs to be appreciated," said the Expert Staff of the Minister of Inter-Institutional Relations of the PU Ministry, Triono Junoasmono, as reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, July 28.

Triono said that in 2021 the ministry's IKM reached 78.25, rising to 83.59 in 2022, rising again to 86.18 in 2023, then rising again to 88.22 in 2024, and in 2025 it rose to 89.76 percent.

The coverage of the respondents, which reached 635, was representative of 50 UPT/Balai from 5 organizational units, namely the Directorate General of Water Resources, the Directorate General of Road Construction, the Directorate General of Creative Works, the Directorate General of Construction, and the Human Resources Development Agency, so that the survey results can present the condition of public service of the Ministry of PU as a whole.

Meanwhile, the period for the survey questionnaire was carried out from September 15, 2025 to October 5, 2025 which was calculated using the Krejcie and Morgan formula.

From the 635 respondents, continued Triono, 69 percent of them were men, and 32 percent were women, for the age range of 30 percent were 31-40 years, 26 percent (41-50 years), 17 percent (26-30 years), 14 percent (above 50 years), and 13 percent (under 25).

Meanwhile, based on the level of education, 62 percent are S1, 17 percent are S2, 12 percent are high school/vocational school, 6 percent are D3/D4, and 3 percent are others.

From the survey results, it was also found that there were three best elements, namely public service procedures, officer competence, and service requirements.

However, there are also three elements that need to be improved, namely service products, facilities and infrastructure, and handling complaints.

The 2025 Public Satisfaction Survey (SKM), said Triono, has produced an objective picture of the quality of public services in the PU Ministry environment.

Meanwhile, the Public Consultation Forum (FKP) is held as a two-way dialogue space between the Ministry of PU and stakeholders of integrated public services.

"The goal is to inform the survey findings as well as filter direct input from service users," he said.
