Depok Deputy Mayor Reminds People To Obey The Calm Period Of The 2024 Election

Deputy Mayor of Depok Imam Budi Hartono reminded election participants to obey the calm period so as not to carry out campaign activities.

"Let's protect together, both the people, political parties, the TNI, Depok residents, and all circles so that the 2024 General Election is safe, peaceful, successful, and without excesses," said Imam Budi Hartono in Depok, Sunday, quoted by Antara.

Bang Imam said, as the Deputy Mayor of Depok is called, that this democratic party must be addressed maturely and wisely in order to take place in a jurdil manner.

Bang Imam also invited the entire community to come to the polling station (TPS) on February 14, 2024 to determine the nation's future leader.

"To all election supervisors, good work, both in controlling campaign props (APK) from today to D-days. Hopefully it will run smoothly without any problems," he said.

All election participants have carried out the reading of the declaration of peace elections and the signing of the peace election.

The calm period in holding the 2024 General Election will last for 3 days, exactly 3 days before the vote, from 11 to 13 February 2024, then the schedule for the D-day voting will be on Wednesday, February 14, 2024.

Definition according to Law Number 7 of 2017 concerning General Elections as stipulated in Article 1 point 36, a period of calm is a period that cannot be used to carry out election campaign activities.

Based on data from the Indonesian KPU, the final voter list (DPT) in the 2024 General Election was 204,807,222 voters.

Previously, the Indonesian KPU announced that there were 18 participants in the 2024 General Election, namely (according to the serial number) of the National Awakening Party (PKB), Gerindra Party, PDI Perjuangan, Golkar Party, NasDem Party, Labor Party, and the Gelora Indonesia Party.

Next, Partai Keadilan Sejahtera (PKS), Partai Kebangkitan Nusantara (PKN), Partai Hanura, Partai Garuda, Partai Amanat Nasional (PAN), Partai Bulan Bintang (PBB), Partai Demokrat, Partai Solidaritas Indonesia (PSI), Partai Perindo, Partai Persatuan Pembangunan (PPP), and Partai Ummat.

In addition, the election for legislative members (pileg) was also attended by six local political parties, namely the Aceh Nanggroe Party, the Atjeh Beusaboh Tha'at and Taqwa Generation Party, the Aceh Darul Party, the Aceh Party, the Aceh Prosperous Justice Party, and the Aceh People's Independent Solidity Party.

The Indonesian KPU has also determined the 2024 Presidential and Vice Presidential Election participants, namely the Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar pair number 1, Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka number 2, and Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud Md. serial number 3.
