The Department of Transportation (Dishub) of Depok City, West Java, has prepared an additional four BisKita Trans Depok service routes to serve public transportation in the area.
"Currently, studies are still being carried out and will be carried out in 2026," said Head of Depok City Transportation Agency Zamrowi in Depok, Antara, Friday, March 7.
The four routes are Depok - Bojongsari PP Terminal, Depok Terminal - PAL Tugu PP Market, Depok Terminal - Jatijajar PP Terminal and Depok Terminal Pondok Rajeg PP Station.
According to him, he is currently preparing to hand over BisKita Trans Depok from the Jabodetabek Transportation Management Agency (BPTJ) to the Depok City Government (Pemkot), which is planned for 2026.
The Depok City Transportation Agency admitted that it had coordinated with the mayor and the local regional development planning agency so that the budget could be prepared early.
Nevertheless, the Transportation Agency still hopes that BPTJ can assist the Depok City Government for the next two periods, especially in the provision of bus stops and other supporting facilities.
