SPIN Survey: Gelora Party And PSI Meet Parliamentary Thresholds

JAKARTA - The executive director of Survey and Polling Indonesia (SPIN), Igor Dirgantara, said that based on survey data conducted by his institution, it was found that two non Senayan parties could finally have the opportunity to enter Senayan in the 2024 election.

The two parties are the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI) and the Indonesian People's Wave Party (Gelora).

"PSI and Gelora electability has met the parliamentary threshold and will pass to the central parliament," Igor said in a survey release, Friday, February 9.

The survey results show that PSI received 4.2 percent of voters, while the Gelora Party was 4.1 percent. This figure is an increase from the previous survey data, namely the period 28 January 31, 2024. At that time, PSI was 4 percent while Gelora was still at 3.6 percent.

With the entry of PSI and Gelora in the percentage of a 4 percent parliamentary threshold, it is predicted that Igor, there will be 10 parties that will qualify for Senayan in the 2024 General Election, namely:

1. Gerindra Party: 22 percent

2. PDI-P: 19.2 percent

3. Golkar Party: 10.2 percent

4. PKB: 8 percent

5. NasDem Party: 6.1 percent

6. PKS: 5.9 percent

7. Democratic Party: 5 percent

8. PAN: 4.4 percent

9. PSI: 4.2 percent

10. Gelora Party: 4.1 percent

Meanwhile, there are 8 (eight) parties that seem unable to get tickets to enter Senayan. They include

1. PPP: 3 percent

2. PBB: 2.1 percent

3. Perindo Party: 1.5 percent

4. Ummat Party: 0.1 percent

5. Hanura Party: 0.1 percent

6. Garuda Party: 0.1 percent

7. Labor Party: 0.1 percent

8. National Awakening Party : 0.1 percent.

"From the results of this survey, it is predicted that parties that will qualify for the central parliament will increase to 10 political parties," he said.

For your information, that the survey was conducted within a period of 5 February 8, 2024 using the diling random digit method and using questionnaire assistance carried out by trained surveyors.

In sampling, SPIN involved 1,200 respondents in 34 provinces throughout Indonesia. As a result, the margin of error (MoE) is approximately 2.8 percent with a confidence level of 95 percent.
