Ulama To Mataraman Javanese Leaders Declare Support Anies-Cak Imin

JAKARTA - Hundreds of scholars, kiai, habib, and figures throughout Java Mataraman declared their support for the presidential and vice presidential candidate pair number 1 Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar (AMIN) in the 2024 Presidential General Election (Pilpres).

The declaration statement was read out by representatives of the figures who attended, namely Ustaz Rahmat at the "Anies Sapa Mataraman" event at the Lembupeteng Sports Center, Tulungagung, East Java.

In the declaration read out with thousands of the campaign masses, they expressed support for the AMIN pair and invited relatives and friends to fight together to win AMIN.

"By mentioning your asthma, O Allah, by begging for your pleasure, we who gather here, the ulama, habib, asatidz, Muslims, Mataraman community leaders promise to support candidate pair number 1 Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar," said Rahmat quoting Antara.

They also promised to invite you and friends to fight together to win AMIN and promised on February 14 that they and their families would come to the polling station (TPS) to vote for the AMIN pair.

In that declaration, they also promised to elect a legislative candidate from the party that carries the AMIN pair, namely the NasDem Party, the National Awakening Party (PKB), the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS), and the Ummat Party.

After the vote, the scholars, kiai, habib, and figures throughout Java in Mataraman who made the declaration also promised to oversee the entire vote counting process until it was finished to ensure that there was no fraud.

"We ask You, O Allah, for our struggle to win Anies-Muhaimin. Amen," said Rahmat closing the declaration which was attended by hundreds of scholars, kiai, habib, and figures throughout Mataraman Java.

For this support, presidential candidate number 1 Anies Baswedan expressed his gratitude and gratitude, and hoped that the change movement would take place.

"Greetings for the takzim and thank you for your support and prayers, hopefully this mandate will be relaxed. God willing, this change movement will be carried out," said Anies.

The General Election Commission (KPU) of the Republic of Indonesia has determined the 2024 Presidential and Vice Presidential Elections (Pilpres) participants, namely the Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar pair number 1, Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka number 2, and Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud Md. serial number 3.

The KPU has also set a campaign period from November 28, 2023 to February 10, 2024, a period of calm on February 11-13, and the D-Day of the vote on February 14, 2024.
