23 People Killed In Israeli Attack On Gaza Including Refugee Places

JAKARTA - Reportedly 23 people were killed and dozens injured on Friday in a series of violent attacks in Israeli raids in several areas of the Gaza Strip, including a kindergarten (TK) that was a refugee camp.

Israeli warplanes bombed houses and streets in the camps of Bureij, Maghazi and Nuseirat, the city of Zawaida and the city of Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip, and a house in the southern city of the Gaza Strip of Rafah, according to Palestinian medical sources reported by ANTARA from Anadolu, Friday, February 9.

Four Palestinians were killed, including three children, while others were injured in Israeli raids on a kindergarten who was used as a refugee camp in the city of Zawaida in the central Gaza Strip, according to an official Palestinian news agency Wafa report.

Media sources also said Israeli soldiers bombed major roads in the Maghazi camp, and a number of houses in the camps of Bureij and Nuseirat, which caused total destruction.

A total of 10 bodies and several injured people were found from the targeted areas in the camps.

In the city of Rafah, medical sources at Kuwait Hospital reported eight Palestinians were killed in the bombing targeting two houses belonging to the families of Al-Sayyid and Al-Nahal.

Since October 7, Israel has killed 27,840 Palestinians in intense attacks in the Gaza Strip, including 12 thousand children, and 8,190 women, while 67,317 others were injured, according to Palestinian authorities.

In a temporary decision at the end of January, the International Court of Justice (ICJ) ordered Israel to comply with six interim measures, including all possible measures to prevent genocide and ensure the provision of basic services and humanitarian assistance to civilians in Gaza.
