Anies-Muhaimin Promises Teacher Welfare, These Are 10 Programs To Remember

BANYUWANGI - Candidate pairs for president and vice president number 1, Anies Baswedan and Muhaimin Iskandar (AMIN), have prepared 10 real programs for teachers in Indonesia.

"Teachers must be given welfare. They are given infrastructure, tools and equipment that need to bring enlightenment to the future of the nation's children," said Muhaimin in Banyuwangi, East Java, as reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, February 7.

This was conveyed by Muhaimin after discussing with hundreds of madrasah teachers at the Ma'arif Education Institute, Branch Management of Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) Banyuwangi.

"I am very happy to meet madrasa teachers. They said the conditions were very suffering, first the salaries were small, the two facilities were very limited. In fact, one of the complaints was that computers were only needed, that was what was needed was not available," he said.

The Anies-Muhaimin pair carries the vision, mission and work program, with the big theme Indonesia is just prosperous for all. Meanwhile, teachers are included in 28 welfare nodes with the theme, teachers are relieved, students are happy.

AMIN prepared 10 concrete programs for teachers, namely, first, increasing the status of honorary teachers with a Statement of Absolute Responsibility (SPJTM) to PPPK, through a fair and transparent process. Second, improving the welfare of public school teachers.

Third, providing welfare allowances for teaching early childhood education (PAUD). Fourth, the teacher's salary is received on time, not too late anymore.

Fifth, incentives to increase the salaries of private teachers through school operational assistance funds. Sixth, reducing the administrative burden

to a maximum of 10 percent of working hours.

Seventh, maintain a curriculum that applies with measurable adjustments. Eighth, scholarships for teachers and teachers through the teacher's endowment fund program.

Ninth, improving career paths for prospective new teachers with a choice of focus, school leadership, curriculum and education and teaching specialists. Tenth, equitable teacher ratio through data improvement, recruitment system and which
