Three Bald-Headed Men Arrested By Police After Stealing Raw Materials For Making Fake Hair

JAKARTA Two of the three thieves arrested by the Criminal Investigation Unit (Satreskrim) of the Purbalingga Police, are security guards at PT Sung Chang, Mewek Village, Kalimanah District, Purbalingga Regency. They were arrested for stealing a number of displays (fake hair).

Deputy Head of Purbalingga Police, Kompol Donni Krestanto, explained that the three suspects who were arrested were S (38), a resident of Bojong Village, Purbalingga, U (32) a resident of Karanganangka Village, Bukateja District, PurbaILingga and E (38) a resident of Kebutuhan Village, Bukateja District, Purbalingga.

"Of the three perpetrators who were arrested, two of them were employees at PT Sung Chang who worked as company security officers," said Kompol Donni Krestanto in a written statement received, Wednesday, February 7.

The theft case was discovered by the company on Monday, November 6 at around 08.30 WIB. The company has lost raw materials for making fake hair with a total loss of Rp. 118,632,800.

"From the report, the Purbalingga Police Satreskrim conducted an investigation. Until they managed to identify and secure the perpetrators on January 18, 2024," said the Deputy Chief of Police.

The evidence that was secured included a red Daihatsu Xenia car with police number AA-9171-GF, a white Honda Vario motorcycle R-2665-VL, two mobile phones, one roll HD Lace (the made-up of a CCTV record flash drive and a bundle checking the calculation of missing goods at PT Sung Chang.

Based on the suspect's confession, the theft was planned by the three. Suspect U, who worked as a security officer, was tasked with turning off the camera panel when he was about to commit the theft.

Then two other people headed to the location to open the warehouse with the key children under the control of the security officers. Next, take the raw materials for making sickles and transported by car.

From the suspect's confession, the stolen evidence has not been sold, some of which are still stored and some are dumped into the river to eliminate traces because they know the theft has been reported.

The Deputy Chief of Police added that the suspect was subject to Article 363 of the Criminal Code concerning theft with a Weight in conjunction with Article 64 of the Criminal Code in conjunction with Article 55 of the Criminal Code. The threat of punishment for this article is a maximum imprisonment of seven years.
