GORONTALO - Directorate of General Criminal Investigation (Ditreskrimum) of the Gorontalo Police revealed a criminal case of sexual violence (TPKS) involving a state civil servant (ASN) with the initials SS. The perpetrator's lecherous actions were carried out on the victim when he was still in kindergarten age (TK) to junior high school (SMP)

Head of Public Relations (Head of Public Relations) of the Gorontalo Police, Kombes Pol. Desmont Harjendro said the man with the initials SS (40) used to serve at the Gorontalo Region State Treasury Service Office (KPPN), but now has moved to work at the Kudus Regency office, Central Java.

"In the past, SS perpetrators served in Gorontalo, and now they have moved to Central Java," said Kombes Pol Desmont.

He said the disclosure of this case began with a 23-year-old woman, with the initials B alias Bunga (professional name) who reported to the Gorontalo Police because she had been sexually harassed by her own sister-in-law from 2005 to 2023.

According to the victim's report, that he had been abused by his brother-in-law since 2005 or that he was still five years old, and the treatment took place at his family's house in Kota Tengah District, Gorontalo City.

The treatment took place from the time the victim was in the Taman Kanan Kanak (TK) to Junior High School (SMP) school, where the victim did not understand that such treatment was sexual harassment.

At the age of about 12 years, the victim was first sexually assaulted by the perpetrator and recorded without realizing it by the victim.

"The perpetrator threatened that if the victim told someone else, he would secretly distribute the video he had recorded," said the Head of Public Relations.

Fearing the threat, the victim was forced to be willing to be sexually assaulted by the perpetrator every time he wanted to vent his lust. Until finally the perpetrator moved to Central Java.

It turned out that the Head of Public Relations said that the perpetrator's lecherous actions did not stop there. Because while on duty in other areas, the victim is often asked by the perpetrator to send a video recording showing the victim's body without clothes or naked.

The depraved act continued until December 15, 2023, where the perpetrators continued to ask the victim to send similar videos and photos, and threatened to distribute their sexual videos if the victim did not heed his request.

"So after the victim gathered his intentions and courage, finally reported. Then the investigator summoned the witness and the perpetrator, to determine and detain the suspect," said the Head of Public Relations.

To account for his actions, SS is threatened with being charged with Article 81 paragraph (1) and / or Article 6 C of the Law on the Crime of Sexual Violence (TPKS), with a threat of 15 years in prison.
