BOGOR - Bogor Regency Government, West Java, followed up on the results of an audit from the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) regarding the state loss of Rp. 6 billion in the Regional Government Financial Report (LKPD) for Fiscal Year 2023.

"I assigned the Inspectorate and BPKAD to collect the state's losses. We were given 60 days by the BPK to collect a total of around Rp. 6 billion," said Bogor Regent Asmawa Tosepu as quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, February 6.

Currently, the Bogor Regency Government is collecting overpayments from entrepreneurs as third parties. According to him, the Bogor Regency Government will take firm steps if service providers do not heed the bills made.

"Yes, if (the service provider) does not want to return the money, we will delegate it to law enforcement officials," said Asmawa, who is also the Head of the General Bureau of the Ministry of Home Affairs.

The loss in the BPK Examination Result Report (LHP) made the Bogor Regency Government receive another fair opinion with the exception (WDP).

Asmawa targets that in the future the BPK RI LHP received by the Bogor Regency Government will receive an unqualified opinion (WTP), with a note that everything is going well.

"I am targeting that in the future the Bogor Regency Government will get the WTP predicate, the way to carry out completely the arrears of BPK-RI West Java Representative recommendations over the last few years," he said.

Chairman of the Bogor Regency DPRD Rudy Susmanto supports the efforts made by Asmawa regarding the WDP predicate.

"I support Pak Asmawa to improve local governance, so that in the future he can predicate WTP," said Rudy.
