February 11, All APKs In Central Jakarta Will Be Ordered

JAKARTA - Ahead of the calm period of the general election on Sunday, February 11, joint officers from the Central Jakarta City Government will simultaneously reduce campaign props (APK) in Central Jakarta.

"Initially we offered to political parties to remove their own APK, maybe they want to use it again. But they agreed that we were in order," said Central Jakarta City Administration Assistant Secretary Denny Ramdany to reporters, Tuesday, February 6.

Recently, the Central Jakarta City Government together with representatives from the City Leadership Forum (Forkopimko) and political parties held a coordination meeting (Rakor) for the preparation of controlling campaign props (APK) in the Pattern Room of the Central Jakarta Mayor's Office.

They also agreed that the removal of all APKs was carried out by the ranks of the Central Jakarta City Government. That way, the APK reduction will be carried out by means of control.

Control activities at the city level are planned to target the APK in all protocol road areas throughout Central Jakarta. Meanwhile, regarding the existence of the APK on environmental roads or residential areas, Denny admitted that he would coordinate with the sub-district ranks.

"The realization will be that later we break down so that the sub-district head will convey to the village head to move the potential of the community. Including so that the 100 meters radius of the polling station cannot have an APK," he said.
