Muhaimin: AMIN Ready To Complete Trans Java To Banyuwangi Toll Road Construction

BANYUWANGI - Candidate for vice president number 1 Muhaimin Iskandar confirmed that the Anies-Muhaimin (AMIN) pair is ready to continue the construction of the Trans Java toll road to Banyuwangi, East Java.

"This Banyuwangi is very important, because it is rich in natural resources," he said after the activities of salawat and rasabiah with hundreds of kiai and nyaai villages at the Raudhotuttholabah Islamic Boarding School, Genteng, as reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, February 6.

Gus Imin explained that the AMIN pair carried vision, mission and work programs, with the big theme Indonesia was just prosperous for all. Especially on the island of Java, development is designed for a sustainable economic foundation.

"One of them is the Trans Java Toll Road whose construction is completed to Banyuwangi," he said.

Reporting from the website of the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing, the Probolinggo - Banyuwangi Toll Road is part of the Trans Java Toll Road network which is currently under construction at Phase 1 Gending - Besuki along 49.7 kilometers.

The presence of the Trans Java Toll Road will connect the west end to the east end of Java Island to increase connectivity and facilitate the mobility of people, goods and services.

The Probolinggo Banyuwangi Toll Road consists of 2 stages of construction implementation in stage 1, divided into Section 1 Gending - Kraksaan (12.88 Km) with construction progress 15.01%, Section 2 Kraksaan - Paiton (11.20 Km) with construction progress 2.61%, and Section 3 Paiton Besuki (25.6 Km) with construction progress 0.65%.

Overall Phase 1 of the Probolinggo - Banyuwangi Toll Road, which consists of 3 Sections, is targeted to complete construction in December 2024.

For stage 2 of the Besuki Banyuwangi section along 126.72 km and the construction is targeted to be completed after 2024 consisting of Section 4 Besuki - Situbondo (43.30 Km), Section 5 Situbondo - Asembagus (16.76 Km), Section 6 Asembagus - Bajulmati (37.45 Km) and Section 7 Bajulmati - Ketapang (29.21 Km).
