Hasto Denies Ahok's Assumption Of 'White Horse' Jokowi, Make Sure To Give A Shock Effect To The President

JAKARTA - Secretary General of the PDI-P (PDIP), Hasto Kristiyanto, denied Basuki Tjahaja Purnama alias Ahok's assumption that President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) was a 'white horse'.

According to him, Ahok's presence to participate in the campaign for Ganjar-Mahfud in the 2024 Presidential Election (Pilpres) is purely related to morals and ethics.

"There is no (Ahok) white horse," said Hasto to reporters at the PDIP DPP, Jakarta, Monday, February 5.

The 'White Horse' in question is that Ahok was deliberately played by Jokowi to disrupt PDIP from the inside. Especially to prevent the formation of a coalition of candidate pairs (paslon) 01 and 03.

However, Ahok's presence is said to surprise Jokowi. This is because the former Governor of DKI Jakarta for the 2014-2017 period is a meritorious figure for Jokowi.

"But that was surprising, most likely to surprise Pak Jokowi. Because whatever Mr. Ahok is, this is one of the persons for Pak Jokowi's success at that time," he said.

Hasto emphasized that Ahok's presence was purely based on the moral ethics movement. Because, if calculated, Ahok certainly loses because he joined when PT Pertamina got big profits.

"Pak Ahok lost because Pertamina only got a big advantage, but this is the nation's call to voice with conscience. Hopefully Pak Jokowi will join," said Hasto.
