Involved In Online Prostitution, 6 Teenagers In Gowa Arrested By Police

A total of six teenagers were arrested by the police for allegedly being involved in online prostitution in boarding houses, in Somba Opu District, Gowa Regency, South Sulawesi. The teenagers were arrested after the joint officers raided a number of locations that were considered prone to crime, including boarding houses. After conducting inspections and searches, six teenagers consisting of four men and two women were arrested by officers. "We conducted examinations and search of our rooms we found several couples," said Murtala. From the hands of the arrested young men, the police found a number of evidences in the form of a tobacco sachet suspected of narcotics, while two young women found evidence on mobile phones in the form of chats suspected of carrying out online prostitution.

The six teenagers were then led to the Gowa Police Headquarters for questioning. This raid to create conditions is often carried out in the Gowa Regency area by tracing locations that are considered prone to criminal acts.
