Luhut Pandjaitan Declaration Supports Prabowo-Gibran

JAKARTA - Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment, Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan, declared his support for the presidential and vice presidential candidate pair, Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka, in the 2024 General Election (Pemilu) contestation.

Luhut made the declaration of support through his Instagram account @luhut.pandjaitan, Saturday, February 3.

"So I convey my conclusions, brothers and sisters and sisters of the water. We choose the right person to become President of the Republic of Indonesia. The 14th is right. I personally chose Pak Prabowo," said Luhut.

The reason behind his decision to support Prabowo is said to be very simple. The number two vice presidential candidate is considered to have the spirit to build a better Indonesia.

"A simple, sustainable reason and he has a good spirit of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia and he proved past successes are undeniable," he said.

"I am Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan, choose Prabowo. Because I think he is the best choice for the current president. It will bring Indonesia's progress and bring Indonesia's sustainability," continued Luhut.

Apart from that, Luhut advised the pairs of candidates and the entire community to make peace again after the 2024 election contestation was completed. Because, building Indonesia must be prioritized from other things.

"After the 14th, we have voted, we are at peace again, friendly again, don't come up with bad words anymore, we have to make peace," said Luhut.
