DKI Jakarta KPU Ensures Disbursement Rights For KPPS Members Are Fulfilled Even Though It Takes Time

JAKARTA - The General Election Commission (KPU) of DKI Jakarta ensures that the right to disburse transportation money for members of the Voting Organizing Group (KPPS) is fulfilled even though it takes time.

"The budget disbursement process takes time to adjust to the workload, but we make sure it will definitely be paid," said Head of the DKI Jakarta KPU Technical Division, Dody Wijaya, quoted from Antara, Saturday, February 3.

According to Dody, if it is found that there are members of the KPPS who have not received the transportation wage, then the problem may be due to technical problems such as administrative.

Nevertheless, he ensured that the rights of KPPS members could be immediately fulfilled as a form of appreciation for their performance.

"We ensure that all rights for election organizers, especially KPPS friends and Adhoc bodies, have been allocated by the state," he said.

Dody detailed that KPPS members are entitled to receive as much as IDR 50,000 transportation funds at the inauguration. As for technical guidance (bimtek), KPPS members receive transportation assistance of IDR 100,000.

The DKI Jakarta KPU ensures that all election organizers, from members to the Chairman of the KPPS, will get their rights according to the workload.

"So there is nothing called cut or reduced by the parties who provide the assistance," said Dody.

The General Election Commission (KPU) of DKI Jakarta has deployed 215,362 officials of the Voting Organizing Group (KPPS) for the 2024 General Election (Pemilu).

The General Election Commission (KPU) of the Republic of Indonesia has set an honorarium for the voting group (KPPS) for the 2024 General Election, namely Rp. 1.2 million for the chairman and Rp. 1.1 million for members.

The KPPS members work for one month, namely January 25 to February 25, 2024.

To support the performance of KPPS, the DKI Jakarta Provincial Health Office has prepared health check-up facilities (MCU) for around 210,000 KPPS members in DKI Jakarta, which includes blood pressure checks, blood sugar, and cholesterol.
