Gus Yaqut Advises Ansor And Banser Cadres To Stay Solid Under Addin Jauaruddin Leaders

JAKARTA - General Chairperson of the Ansor Youth Movement (Ketum PP GP Ansor) demisioner Yaqut Cholil Qoumas (Gus Yaqut) advised Ansor and Banser cadres to remain solid under the leadership of Addin Jauaruddin.

That way, cadres can continue to be on the path of Ansor's struggle, both in maintaining the Jam'iyah (organization) and Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI).

"Like the ocean, the Ansor Youth Movement is wide. If anyone tries to pollute with one or two words, don't litter the Ansor Ocean," Yaqut said in an apple welcoming the elected General Chairperson of the GP Ansor Central Executive Board at Tanjung Emas Port, Semarang, as quoted from the official statement, quoted from Antara, Saturday, February 3.

Yaqut also expressed his gratitude for being entrusted with the trust to endorse Ansor for approximately eight years.

According to him, his success in carrying out the mandate until the end of the management period cannot be separated from the cooperation of all cadres and various parties.

On behalf of the personal, demisionary chairman, and all central management, Yaqut also apologized profusely if so far there have been decisions that are dissatisfied or uncomfortable.

"I convey this from the bottom of my heart. We believe there is no ivory that is not cracked," he said.

Meanwhile, the elected Ketum PP GP Ansor for the solemn period 2024-2029 Addin Jauaruddin assessed that the chair of the general chairman he would carry was a mandate as well as a new test in order to bring this Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) youth organization to the ocean of aspirations or destinations.

"This is just a transition, my job is to continue the big idea that Gus Yaqut has put forward. Hopefully in the future Ansor will be more solid and neat for the greatness of Ansor," said Addin.

Meanwhile, Addin received a warm welcome from around 1,000 Banser members when he arrived at Tanjung Emas Port, Semarang, Saturday (3/3) in the morning. When he got off the Kelud Motorboat (KM) which sailed with a group of participants in the VI Congress of the Ansor Youth Movement, Addin was seen accompanying Gus Yaqut.

Their arrival was also welcomed by the Deputy Chairperson of PBNU Nizar Ali, Head of the Regional Office of the Ministry of Religion of Central Java Musta'in Ahmad, as well as a number of administrators of PW GP Ansor and PWNU Central Java.

Next, Addin and Gus Yaqut headed to the location of the apple located in the port yard. The apple begins with a procession of handing over the leadership relay from Gus Yaqut to Addin.

The event was marked by the handover of the banner of the Ansor organization from Gus Yaqut as General Chairperson of PP GP Ansor demisioner to Addin, who is the elected chairman of the XVI congress.
