Ganjar-Mahfud Prepare 3 Steps To Reduce Unemployment Rates

Presidential candidate number 3 Ganjar Pranowo said he and Mahfud MD had prepared three accurate moves to eradicate unemployment in Indonesia.

The first step is to improve the quality of human resources (HR) by equitableness and ease of accessing education, especially for pre-sesejahtera.

The decline in the number of poor families must be an affirmative act. Therefore, Ganjar and Mahfud MD carried the One Poor Family One Bachelor Program, and opened 17 million new jobs, said Ganjar after attending the Tuban People's Celebration event at Watu Gajah Field, Semanding District, Tuban Regency, East Java, Friday.

"Unemployment? One capacity is increased, so why does then access to education have to be cheap, it must be easy. So for the poor, we must give priority," explained Ganjar in a written statement reported by ANTARA, Friday, February 2.

Based on the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), the unemployment rate in Indonesia reached 7.86 million people as of August 2023 or equivalent to the open unemployment rate (TPT) of 5.32 percent of the total 147.71 million workforce.

The second step is to provide assistance and space to the community to develop their potential.

In this case, Ganjar-Mahfud will also offer convenience to new entrepreneurs such as capital, business licenses, and legal guarantees so that the economy will be more stretched.

Finally, widening the investment space by obtaining good enforcement support and legal certainty

"Creating jobs by one inviting investment,ease of doing business must really be implemented. Creating a new entrepreneur, this entrepreneur is what must be encouraged to young people of the younger generation if they cannot become employees, they become entrepreneurs. Collaboration is carried out by the government," he said.
