Prabowo: Those Who Didn't Choose Me Including 01-03, I Will Still Protect

Presidential candidate number two, Prabowo Subianto, and his partner as vice presidential candidate, Gibran Rakabuming Raka, stated that they are ready to protect their two rivals, Anies Rasyid Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar and Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD.

"Those who did not choose me, including one empty, three empty, I will still protect, I will still defend," said Prabowo, while campaigning at the Sudiang Sports Center (GOR), Biringkanaya District, Makassar, South Sulawesi, as reported by ANTARA, Friday, February 2.

Prabowo in the gathering of volunteers and the declaration of victory in that place also expressed his gratitude to the people in South Sulawesi who gave him strength, energy so that the young soul returned.

He also believes that almost all surveys say that the presidential election will take place in one round.

Therefore Prabowo asked the entire team, volunteers and supporters not to be careless, not to be arrogant and not to be big-headed.

"Ladies and gentlemen, never want to mock other people, never want to insult others, let alone rebuke, slander, don't slander. Don't want to be provoked," he said.

Prabowo emphasized that the Indonesian nation has a glorious time in the future, because the data and indicators are clearly heading that way. However, to achieve a glorious period, the condition is that all leaders unite.

"I say, our future is brilliant. All data, all indicators, all facts go there. All observers, all experts and abroad say that. But, there are conditions, all leaders must unite, must be cool, must be wise," he explained.

"You prefer your leader to get along or get into an argument. Do you want a leader to be wise or stubborn?, humble or angry? All ethnic groups, all ethnic groups, all races, all religions, all parts of Indonesia that I encounter, all want unity, harmony," he said.

Prabowo, who is still the defense minister, said that if the Prabowo-Gibran pair was given a mandate by the people, they would lend their hand, embrace all strengths for the sake of integrity, unity and prosperity of the Indonesian nation.

"Pak Jokowi has set an example, in 2019 he won (Pilpres), but he invited me to join, and I am ready to join even though I was defeated, this is to serve the Indonesian people. Remember the 2019 presidential election debate, President Jokowi and Prabowo Subianto never hurt each other, mocked each other, blasphemed, let alone gave small values," he said.

"After I entered Jokowi's team, I was a witness that he worked extraordinary for the people. All figures worked for the Indonesian people. I am a witness. Try to calculate how many kilometers the road, port, airport, reservoir, everything was built by President Jokowi and his government," he added.
