Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto emphasized that there was no change in the data on recipients of social assistance (bansos) for January to February 2024.

According to him, the distribution of social assistance continues to use data from the Ministry of Social Affairs (Kemensos).

"There is no change, because all the budgets, budgets at the Ministry of Social Affairs, use the Ministry of Social's budget," said Airlangga i Rumah Jabatan Gubernur Sulawesi Selatan, Makassar as reported by ANTARA, Thursday, February 1.

Airlangga conveyed this to dispel the issues circulating that the government did not use data from the Ministry of Social Affairs in the distribution of social assistance in the January-February 2024 period.

Airlangga explained that the social assistance distribution data refers to the National Socio-Economic Survey (SUSENAS) and Integrated Social Welfare Data (DTKS) from the National Team for the Acceleration of Poverty Reduction (TNP2K) which is combined with data from the Ministry of Social Affairs.

"We already have data on SUSENAS and DTKS data from TNP2K at the Coordinating Ministry for Human Development and Culture. So the data has been combined and consolidated," said Airlangga.

Minister of Social Affairs (Mensos) Tri Rismaharini said the Ministry of Social Affairs already has data on recipients who are entitled to social assistance proposed by each region.

"It's been thoroughly examined, those who passed the social assistance. We have data up to the state of the picture of their house," said Risma in Jakarta, Monday (4/12/2023).

According to Risma, according to Law Number 11 of 2011 concerning Handling the Poor who have the right to propose that the recipients of social assistance are local governments.

"In the past, it was three months when the local government suggested it would be verified but now it is only one month, if the local government does not follow up, the proposed one will still be approved," he said.

In addition, his party cooperates with the State Civil Service Agency (BKN) and BPJS Ketenagakerjaan to check the data on the beneficiary communities.

This aims to ensure that in one family member does not receive a salary according to the City Minimum Wage (UMK) or the recipient has the status of an ASN.
