JAMBI - The Directorate of General Criminal Investigation (Ditreskrimum) of the Jambi Police is investigating a case of alleged fraud in the receipt of Government Employees with Work Agreements (PPPK) 2023 in Kerinci Regency. The Director General of the Jambi Regional Police, Kombes Andri Ananta, said that the Jambi Regional Police will soon schedule the summoning of the reported party. "Moreover, we will summon the reported party to provide information on the incoming report," he said in Jambi, Antara, Thursday, February 1. Regarding the list of names of the reported parties to be summoned, Andri did not want to mention the list of names of the reported parties. "This is only a complaint that we clearly call first because we have to collect evidence and information from the reported party," he explained. This report began when the Indonesian honorary alliance submitted a report to the Jambi Regional Police. The report was due to allegations of unfair practices allegedly involving high-ranking officials in Kerinci in the process of receiving local PPPK. Previously, the Head of Public Relations of the Jambi Police, Senior Commissioner of Police Mulia Prianto, confirmed that the Jambi Regional Police had received a complaint report on alleged PPPK selection fraud in Kerinci Regency. The report was received by Jambi Police investigators on Friday (26/1). He said the report received would certainly be investigated further by investigators.

For information in December 2023, the Kerinci Regency Government announced the results of the 2023 PPPK acceptance selection for teacher, technical and health formations. The results of the announcement then drew a commotion because it was suspected that there was fraud in the acceptance of PPPK 2023 in the area.
