Semen Padang Hospital Paralyzed After Explosion Incident, Temporary Data Of 14 Patients Referred To RSUP M Djamil

Central General Hospital (RSUP) M Djamil Padang, West Sumatra (West Sumatra) received a referral patient from Semen Padang Hospital who was completely paralyzed due to an explosion incident on Tuesday afternoon at around 15.30 WIB. "Due to the incident experienced by Semen Padang Hospital, we immediately activated disaster preparedness, we also immediately prepared medical treatment," said Director of RSUP M Djamil Padang Dovy Djanas in Padang, quoted from Antara, Tuesday, January 30. As of 18.30 WIB, his party had received 14 people referred from Semen Padang Hospital. With details as many as twelve people were patients, while the other two people were victims when the explosion occurred. "Two patients were victims when the explosion incident occurred, their condition was slightly injured and they had received medical treatment," he explained. He said that in terms of preparedness, medical personnel and rooms for RSUP M Djamil Padang were still sufficient to provide medical services to patients. "Regarding this incident, patients with mild categories are referred to the nearest hospital, those with severe conditions will be taken to RSUP M Djamil," he said. Dovy also said that his party was concerned about the incident that happened to Semen Padang Hospital on Tuesday afternoon, shortly after the incident his party immediately activated disaster preparedness. On the other hand, the explosion caused the service at Semen Padang Hospital to be completely paralyzed since Tuesday afternoon. Dozens of patients who were being treated at the hospital were seen being sent to the hospital yard using beds or wheelchairs ranging from parents, women, men, and children. Until 18.30 WIB, the process of transferring patients from Semen Padang Hospital to another hospital was still ongoing, long queues of ambulances were still preparing to carry patients.

Based on information from the hospital, the total number of patients at the time of the incident was 102 people.
