Polda Metro: 21 TPS Enters Very Prone Category, Most In Thousand Islands

JAKARTA - Polda Metro Jaya noted that there are 21 out of 65,495 polling stations (TPS) in its jurisdiction which are categorized as very vulnerable. Most of them are in the Thousand Islands. "Based on the existing data, at least 21 polling stations are very vulnerable," said Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Ade Ary Syam Indradi to reporters, Tuesday, January 30. In detail, dozens of polling stations categorized as highly cared for 6 of them are in the East Jakarta area, 10 in the Thousand Islands, and 5 in the South Tangerang region. The occupancy rate of dozens of polling stations is based on geographical and social demographic conditions. "There are three classifications, less vulnerable, vulnerable, and very vulnerable, based on the geographical conditions and demographic conditions that exist," he said, Polda Metro Jaya deployed tens of thousands of personnel for security throughout the TPS. Thus, the voting process to vote counting runs conducively. "The total number of Polda Metro Jaya personnel and the police ranks who will carry out the security of TPS is 11,385 personnel," said Ade.

On the other hand, Ade also emphasized that the National Police, especially Polda Metro Jaya, are committed to remain neutral or not in favor of any candidate pair (paslon) in the 2024 General Election (Pemilu). "Polda Metro Jaya once again, is committed to being neutral and remains focused on election security activities and other community activities," said Ade.
