YOGYAKARTA The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has again held a hand arrest operation (OTT). The operation was carried out on Thursday, January 25 in Sidoarjo, East Java. Related to this, the fact that the KPK OTT in Sidoarjo was also a hot topic of conversation.

After the OTT was carried out, the KPK conducted a case title. As a result, the KPK established Siska Wati, who is the Head of the General Subdivision and Personnel of the Sidoarjo Regional Tax Service Agency (BPPD) as a suspect in OTT Sidoarjo.

The suspect Siska Wati is suspected of cutting incentives for Sidoarjo BPPD employees with a total of Rp. 2.7 billion.

"There is one person who has been named a suspect, namely SW (Siska Wati) Head of the General Subdivision and Personnel of the Sidoarjo BPBD," explained Head of the KPK News Section Ali Fikri at the KPK Red and White Building, South Jakarta, Monday, January 29.

Siska's incentive cuts were carried out in 2023. Deputy Chairperson of the KPK, Nurul Ghufron, explained that the total amount of money deducted from BPPD ASN was IDR 2.7 billion. The incentive itself should have been received by the Sidoarjo BPPD employees for tax acquisition of IDR 1.3 trillion which was collected in 2023. Siska herself is suspected of making a 10 to 30 percent cut.

The money was handed over in cash. The KPK itself managed to secure Rp69.9 million in cash in OTT out of a total of Rp2.7 billion.

"Especially in 2023, SW will be able to collect discounts and receive incentive funds from ASN in the amount of around Rp. 2.7 billion," he explained.

The KPK itself continues to investigate cases of cuts in incentives that occurred in the Sidoarjo Regency Government. Ghufron explained that the temporary suspicion of cutting incentives for ASN BPPD Sidoarjo has occurred since 2021.

ASN incentive cuts were collected and allegedly used to finance the needs of the Head of BPPD and the Regent of Sidoarjo.

"The cuts and receipts from the incentive funds include the needs for the Head of BPPD and the Regent of Sidoarjo," explained Nurul Ghufron.

Siska herself submitted a request for a discount on incentive funds to ASN verbally. He also forbade ASNs to discuss the cut through messaging applications such as WhatsApp.
