In Order To Live With Her 5 Children, Mother In Cimahi Is Desperate To Distribute Methamphetamine

CIMAHI - With the reason to support his five children, a young housewife with the initials AAS from Bandung City was determined to distribute methamphetamine in the Cimahi area.

Kasatresnarkoba Cimahi Police AKP Tanwin Nopiansah said the arrest of the perpetrator began with public information about the circulation of methamphetamine in the South Cimahi area.

After receiving the information, his party immediately investigated the whereabouts of the perpetrators until finally within three days his party managed to secure the perpetrators.

"The perpetrator was arrested on Thursday, January 4, 2024, at around 01.30 WIB on Jalan Situgunting. We arrested a young housewife with 5 children," said Tanwin, Art, January 30.

According to him, when he was arrested, the perpetrator admitted to getting the illicit goods from RY, who is now on the wanted list (DPO). The perpetrator was promised to get a profit of Rp. 1,000,000.

"The perpetrator admitted that he was desperate to work as a courier to support his family because he and her husband were unemployed and had 5 children to finance," he explained.

Meanwhile, AAS admitted that this is the first time he has circulated the methamphetamine in January 2024. He obtained the illicit goods from the prison network with a promise of a profit of IDR 1 million for every 20 grams of crystal methamphetamine he sells.

"This is my first time (selling methamphetamine) and only once selling L weighs 0.5 grams," he said.

For his actions, AAS must now languish in iron bars. The woman who has a bachelor's degree is threatened with Article 114 paragraph (2) and/or Article 112 paragraph (2) of the Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics.

On that occasion, the Cimahi Police Narcotics Unit also revealed drug trafficking during January 2024.

In that one month span, 13 cases with 13 perpetrators were successfully uncovered, with details of seven cases of methamphetamine, four cases of marijuana and one case of synthetic tobacco drugs and one case of ecstasy.
