Andi Widjajanto: Ganjar-Mahfud Ready To Review Omnibus Law If Elected

JAKARTA - Deputy for Politics 5.0 of the Ganjar-Mahfud National Winning Team (TPN), Andi Widjajanto, said that the number three pair is ready to review the implementation of the Job Creation Law if elected in the 2024 presidential election.

This was conveyed by Andi when mentioning the preparations for the presidential candidate debate which will be held on Sunday, February 4. He said, there were several issues that were brought, including the possibility of conducting a review of the legislation passed in 2020.

"If later Mas Ganjar and Prof Mahfud are given the mandate to lead Indonesia, they will review the Omnimbus Law on Job Creation and oversee the preparation of the rules so as not to harm the people," Andi said in a written statement quoted on Monday, January 29.

Andi ensured that Ganjar would be maximal in debates with the theme of social welfare, culture, education, information technology, health, employment, human resources, and inclusion. He said this issue was already controlled by the former Governor of Central Java.

"Mas Ganjar always goes to the field to monitor policies and the program is safe for 10 years to become the Governor of Central Java and still goes to the community even though he is no longer governor," he said.

"So for him, Sunday's debate is something natural. He has often argued for the benefit of the people," continued Andi.

Later, there will be several debate topics hosted by Ganjar. Among them are social assistance (bansos) which will be maximized with the Sakti KTP program to provide maternity leave for parents

"Added and 100 percent allowance will be guaranteed. In addition, affirmation of disabilities through the Presidential Independent Disability program will also be carried out," he concluded.
